Una mirada inquisidora a la pandemia y a nuestro actuar en las RRSS

Decimos que a los amigos los conocemos en las buenas y en las malas y es una gran realidad ya que en los peores momentos es donde conocemos a nuestros mejores y verdaderos amigos.

Vivimos tiempos, en los que pese a la distancia, nos acercamos a muchas personas, descubrimos en su verdadera magnitud a unos y nos decepcionamos de otros. Tiempos atípicos, pero de grandes descubrimientos para la sociedad. Dentro de todo lo malo que trajo está pandemia, debemos rescatar también los aprendizajes que nos dejó, la capacidad de retomar viejos y hasta olvidados valores y ponerlos en práctica, permitió descubrir nuestro yo tecnológico, nuestra creatividad ante la crisis y la fortaleza interna ante el dolor. Dicen que la necesidad tiene cara de hereje, en esta ocasión tuvo cara de autoaprendizaje que permitió a muchos superar barreras que hasta hace poco tiempo parecían inalcanzables.

“Solidaridad”, “empatía”, “creatividad”, “reinvención”, “nuevo emprendimiento” son algunas de las palabras que sonaron mucho en estos últimos meses y al parecer las seguiremos escuchando, porque tenemos pandemia para rato y aprenderemos a convivir con este nuevo coronavirus que llegó para quedarse. Esperemos que no sean solo palabras para escuchar, lo importante sería lograr que se conviertan en verbos de acción que nos ayuden a crecer más como personas y como sociedad.

Esta época resultó ser muy dura y nos tocó vivir momentos muy tristes; las plataformas sociales cumplieron roles importantes y nos permitieron encontrar canales de acercamiento con muchos amigos pese al confinamiento, pero también se convirtieron en una bomba de tiempo gracias a opciones disponibles como: “compartir” y “reenviar” las que se transformaron mágicamente en los botones rojos de la internet ya que hacer un clic en ellas, sin tener presente algo muy importante: el sentido común, el menos común de los sentidos, hizo que muchos terminen convertidos, sin quererlo voluntariamente, en terroristas* virtuales (*terror=sentir miedo intenso / ismo=sufijo de doctrina ergo terrorismo=doctrina del terror) dándose a la tarea de reenviar y compartir todo lo que llega a sus dispositivos sin un mínimo análisis, a veces sin siquiera leerlo o verlo cuando se trataba de vídeos. Crearon entre los receptores pánico, miedo y obviamente depresión, un cóctel totalmente peligroso, tanto así como el virus que nos ataca de manera invisible. Ambos altamente letales. Lo peor de todo es que pese a las advertencias de los expertos, recomendaciones de los médicos, las RRSS tienen más peso y siguen generando bulos y noticias falsas que la gente cree y por ello continúa con esa escalada de desinformación.

Lo recomendable es desconfiar del contenido recibido, más aún si proviene de fuentes desconocidas o poco creíbles, evitar reenviar o compartir sin antes analizar o consultar mínimamente dos fuentes serías, ver siempre quién ha compartido ese pantallazo y en qué contexto, no creerse noticias que muestran imágenes que posiblemente hayan sido alteradas digitalmente, más si son anónimas.

Cabeza fría, pensamiento crítico, análisis de lo que recibimos, no apasionarse e intentar ser quién tiene una primicia y reenviársela a todos nos ayudará a no ser parte del eslabón de desinformación y terrorismo virtual. Podemos evitar el algoritmo haciendo una lectura serena y con sentido crítico y contrastado con fuentes de información alternativas evitando dejarnos llevar por ese algoritmo al que, gracias a nuestros gustos, aficiones u opiniones nos conducen automáticamente las plataformas en las que estamos absortos el ochenta por ciento de nuestro tiempo ya que éstas, identifican y conocen los gustos de cada persona.

En la punta de nuestros dedos está detener este problema, la desinformación se basa fundamentalmente en la rapidez en que se difunden, expanden y viralizan las noticias, los chismes, los rumores y los comentarios en las redes. No seamos peones de campañas o estrategias, muchas veces generadas por oscuros intereses económicos o políticos, estemos alertas a lo que recibamos en los grupos y rompamos de una vez, con sentido común, la infodemia.

  1. Buena reflexión, querido Ale. La gente, incluido yo, reenvía lo que le llega sin el menor análisis. NI siquiera observamos la pertinencia o el aporpiado uso del lenguaje. Menos la objetividad que, si bien es cierto está condicionada por multiples factores, debe siempre procurarse.
